Rest in Peace, Grandma

I feel like the past two months have been a whirlwind...but aren't I always saying that?  I feel like there was so much going on- even if we weren't always directly involved in the action, it was still emotionally draining.  We had a mini-health scare, a Vegas vacation (well, I did), our 7th wedding anniversary, a kidney transplant in the family (one of Myke's Uncle Dave donated a kidney to his brother Uncle Martin- so far all is looking good!), birthday parties almost every weekend in June (people need to stop being born!), and then my Grandmother passed away (people need to stop dying!).    She passed away out of nowhere- which I guess in many ways is the best way to go.  It's just that no one expected it.  She was looking and feeling good, living an independent life and even traveling up until her final day.  She was also 92!  She lived a long life, so we can all feel happy about that.

I wanted to share her obituary:  Minnie Thomas

Fall 2011 in Richmond, VA
